Today’s the day our government is voting on the massive bail out of financial institutions. I don’t believe that it’ll work because it doesn’t address the underlying accouting and legslavive issues that caused the probem in the first place.
While perusing the blogs today I ran across this video. While it doesn’t explain everything about the crisis, it explains how the Community Reinvestment Act contributed to our current state of affairs:
