Foods grown and produced locally help the regional economy as well as provide the freshest seasonal eats. In the Monadnock Region of New Hampshire, there are a number of locations that provide access to locally grown and developed foods:
Farms
- Walpole Valley Farms – Locally raised beef, broilers, turkeys and eggs
- Stonewall Farm – locally raised grass fed beef
Markets
- Keene Farmer’s Market – May to October, Tuesday and Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm
- Blueberry Fields – Mon-Sat from 9 am to 6 pm
- Hannah Grimes
Fun/Educational
- Vermont Cheese Trail – might make for some good cycle riding
